Affogato

I have been so excited to finally make and try an affogato. I only learned what one was after transitioning to a vegan lifestyle, so you can imagine I haven’t come across a non-dairy version in a traditional Italian restaurant.

Now that I finally had the inspiration to make it myself, I can’t believe I waited this long. It’s possibly the easiest drink (or dessert!) you can make. The flavor oils definitely take it to the next level and give it a more complex flavor. AFFOGATO

1 scoop vegan vanilla ice cream
2 oz. brewed espresso (a doubleshot)
Black Coffee Market Flavor Oil

  1. Add the ice cream to a chilled mug.
  2. Quickly pour the espresso over the ice cream.
  3. Add a few drops of your flavor oil of choice (caramel is delicious here).
  4. Enjoy!
